This is our second year hosting Happy Pawlidays to benefit the no kill animal shelter at North Shore Animal League. Last year even though our small business was just an idea; we had our first attempt at this fundraiser. Sadly we did not get much attention for the cause. This year lets change that!

For as long as I can remember, my love for dogs has been a big part of my life. I whole heartedly believe a that dog really is man's best friend or WOman's best friend too! For those of you wondering the title page heading does not have any typos it is Fun-raiser rather than Fundraiser because those who have a special dog in their life know the joy and fun!
You may have seen our mascota, the sweet and lovable black dog, featured in the product pages of DogCentric Supply and on our Social Media. I adopted my own fur baby, Gina, from NorthShore Animal League when she was just a tiny sassy pup. We asked about her and her brother in the crate next to her, it turns out her litter was unwanted. It's hard to image where they came from or why, but I knew she was ... the one. We just connected. And now going on 7 + years and 60+ lbs later .. she is still high energy but also chilled when hanging out at home. She loves toys and is admittedly a bit spoiled.
With good things on the horizon, our bond is stronger than ever. I could not imagine my life without her.
Gina is always happy to see me and often greets me with a toy in her mouth when I come home. When I first saw this fundraiser last year, I participated seeing it as an opportunity to celebrate the joy Gina has brought into my life. And now I see it as even more than that, an opportunity to change someone else's life whether it is a dog who came from a less than ideal situation to find a second chance at North Shore and eventually find a loving home or a human who finds truely unconditional love has four legs and a tail.
I truely hope that others can benefit from the unconditional love and support that a furry friend can bring into your home too!
