Thank you for visiting my Team Animal League page! I'm running the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon in support of North Shore Animal League America and all the homeless animals they rescue, nurture and adopt into loving, responsible homes.
If anyone knows me, you for sure have heard a story or have seen a picture, willingly or not, of our rescue pit mix Jasper! March 2020 & COVID came quick and out of no where, so suddenly Joelle was stuck at home with me. After going back and forth months prior to the lockdown, we decided to finally adopt from Heaven Can Wait-North Star in New City, NY. After multiple applications and a few Zoom Happy Hours, we finally got the call. Jasper was ours to pick up the next day! I'm not sure if Jasper saved us or we saved him.
After 4 years and plenty of walks/hikes/runs with Jasper, I think it's time to give back to one of the many organizations and shelters across the country that help place these amazing animals in their forever homes.
